By previously working in the service industry at Texas Roadhouse, I learned skills in communication, teamwork, and customer care. After earning my bachelor's degree in Recreational Therapy from UNCW, there were no local opportunities to pursue a career using my degree so I was forced into property management. Though I enjoyed aspects of property management, I quickly realized I was being overworked with little pay. As I watched my husband successfully grow his insurance agency I realized we could achieve the financial freedom we desired while gaining our freedom of time in unison. Over the past seven years in the insurance industry, I have helped clients secure peace of mind and financial stability.

Prior to NASB I worked in several types of jobs from waitressing to personal shopper lead at Harris Teeter. I worked long hours and was underpaid to say the least. When I was in college I always had a passion to serve others and knew I wanted a life long career doing so. NASB gave me just that plus more. I now have the ability to serve others and make a great impact in the insurance industry, all while making an income that has unlimited possibilities.
